Markus Ryll

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Robots and Interactions Group at LAAS/CNRS, Toulouse, working together with Antonio Franchi.

Before joining LAAS-CNRS I was a Ph.D. student at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics, Tübingen, Germany working with Paolo Robuffo Giordano. I obtained my Ph.D. in Control Theory in 2014 from the University of Stuttgart with Frank Allgöwer as reviewer.

I obtained my Master degree in Medical Engineering from Hochschule Ulm, Germany in 2010. During my master program I stayed at Karolinska Institute, Sweden for 6 months working with Philip Köck.

I obtained a Diploma in Mechatronics in 2008 from Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg, working at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.


My research interest spans the following fields:

Design of Novel Aerial Platforms
Aerial Physical Interaction
